77The highlights of this course included the variety of topics covered, the professional development portion, and getting time to connect with other students and find out what research is going on around campus. There were also snacks, which was a plus. Low faculty turnout was the lowest rated aspect of the course, along with the shifting location. Suggested improvements included having more speakers each week, perhaps from outside Hopkins, as well as providing additional snack options. Prospective students should know this was an enjoyable class and gives students an opportunity to connect to other students in the major.
