The best aspects of this course included the interesting material, and the detailed and informative lectures. Students also felt that the instructor was easy to approach with their concerns and questions. Some students felt that the slides corresponding to a lecture were too vague and that coverage of the material seemed rushed at times. Suggestions for improvement included devoting regular class time to review the material and making the assignments smal er. Prospective students are encouraged to do the required readings, and to pay close attention to the lectures.

Spring 2015

Professor: Dimitrios Yatromanolakis

(4.8)

The best aspects of the course included the interesting subject material, as well as the overal structure of the class. Students praised the professor for his enthusiasm and his willingness to help students learn the material. Many students felt that the exams focused primarily on rote memorization of small details, and that the amount of material on the exams was overwhelming. This class would benefit from having a study guide for exams, and having more dynamic and interactive classes. Prospective students should prepare for a heavy workload, and my benefit from a background in Greek mythology.
