Students broadly praised this course which focused on an interesting topic and had an approachable and passionate instructor who worked to keep everyone engaged during lectures. Perceived issues with the course primarily focused on the course’s structure with students finding that with the course only meeting for two and a half hours once a week, it was hard for students to keep their interest up the entire time. Most of the student’s ideas to improve the course focused on the length of each class; many 189students requested the course switch from meeting once a week to meeting multiple times a week for shorter spans of time. Prospective students should know that students found the course’s workload was manageable and the instructor was helpful and nice.
