Students praised this course in particular for its tiny class size, al owing students to have in-depth discussions about the subject matter and address the topic from a variety of angles. Perceived issues with the course included a belief by a couple of students that sometimes the assigned readings could be a bit long. Suggestions for improvement varied widely; one student wanted a decrease in the number of assignments while another wanted the ability to see how classmates responded to questions in order to better understand their points of view. Prospective students should know that students found this course different than most other Hopkins courses. In this course, students were judged primarily based on how they responded to questions in an ongoing blog post they maintained throughout the course.
