This class will serve as an introduction to that most traditionally philosophical topic: the meaning of life. In it we will explore the ideas of several prominent thinkers from the history of philosophy in relation to life, the existence of our world, and their significance (if any). However, the class is not an historical exercise. Instead, it will furnish you with the conceptual tools necessary to engage with the topic in a philosophically competent way and to challenge both yourself and others on those matters that matter most.
