This course is a reading course for the panel data models in the economics department. We will focus on econometric theories that are commonly used in panel data analysis, although many of these techniques can be applied to other areas as well. In addition, we will dis- cuss applications of these theories. The course material will start form chapter 10 & 11 in Wooldridge's book which covers linear panel data models. And then we discuss the discrete choice models from chapter 7 of Hsiao's book. After these, we will try to read papers related to panel data models.
