One of the great literary figures of the 20th century, Jorge Luis Borges has also served as an inspiration and catalyst for profound philosophical reflection in such areas as semiotics, philosophy of language, deconstruction, discourse analysis, and hermeneutics. In this seminar we will analyze a number of his most important texts alongside correlating philosophical texts.
