266The best aspects of the course were the fun class activities and the creative atmosphere that was made available. The students played fun games and got to develop some skil s along the way. The worst aspects of the course included the once-a-week meeting time and the somewhat repetitive activities, some of which seemed to lack educational value. The course would improve if there was more class time dedicated to the fun activities. Prospective students should take this class only if they are willing to come out of their comfort zones and to ready to learn about improvisation. 267

This interactive improvisational class allowed students to focus on themselves as well as their peers. Every class was a new adventure and the professor taught her class useful stress reduction techniques. Students didn’t feel pressured or overwhelmed by work, but felt that each class just required participation and an open mind. However, students felt that the course could be a bit more structured and that it was long. It was suggested that progress reports be given to students and that they be able to sit in chairs, instead of on the floor for three hours. Prospective student should be ready to break out of their shells and get into the course.

The best aspect of this course was the interactive nature of the class that forced students to work outside of their comfort zones and develop strong relationships with classmates. The professor made the class setting comfortable for all students. Some students felt the class lacked direction at times and exercises became repetitive by the end of the course. This course could be improved by having more frequent improvisational exercises and giving students incentives to participate. Prospective students wil be pushed outside of themselves by this engaging, and interactive course.
