This interactive course will give students an introduction to the guiding principles of drug discovery and development. Topics will range from pre-clinical pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic considerations through clinical trial design, implementation, and analysis. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to define the path of drug discovery, while being able to identify and critically assess important factors to consider at each stage when moving a drug forward through the process.
