Professor: Choonwon Kang

(4.75)

The best aspects of this course included the interactive class sessions and the extremely engaging professor. Students felt the professor did a really great job in presenting the language in such a way that they were able to learn so much in such a short time. The worst aspect of this course was the daily homework assignments as they were difficult for some to keep up with. While most found the course to be satisfactory, some suggested a little more assistance with the language in the form of exercises and tutors. Prospective students should know that this is a great course with a lot of work, but those who work hard will definitely see improvement in their knowledge of the language.

Professor: Choonwon Kang

(4.54)

Students thought that the best aspects of this course included the wide range of topics covered, and the effective teaching practices of the professor. The small class size helped students receive personalized feedback and al owed for more conversations and discussions in class. Students found the course to be a bit difficult and that most of the students were at different levels with the language. Suggestions for improvement included adding another course with a more intermediate level of difficult, as many students felt lost at this level. Any prospective students should know that this course is much more intense than the previous two levels of the languages. They should have a strong background in the language and be wil ing to study very hard in order to keep up with the rest of the class. 55
