This course introduces you to the application of economic models and empirical principles related to health and health care. Topics include demand for health and health care, supply of health care, information economics, economics of health innovation, health policy, and public health economics. It is also designed to a general audience who is interested in health insurance markets and health policy debates in the U.S., and around the world. Prerequisite: Microeconomic Theory (AS.440.601) and Econometrics (AS.440.606).
