The course focuses on the ever changing research information management landscape, including initiatives such as information systems, unique identifiers, international standards, metrics, league tables, and scholarly communication. This course also looks at processes to engage in policy, health, and public discourse in higher education management. It also examines the successful operation and the associated perils and pitfalls of trans-national research offices.
