Students must apply for enrollment in the thesis course at least two months before the beginning of the semester in which they would like to participate in the course. The application process requires submitting a formal research proposal to the thesis research committee. If the application is approved, the student may then register for the thesis course. The course will require regular meetings with a thesis advisor, research and writing benchmarks toward completing the project, and a successful thesis defense at the end of the semester.
