Students explore the behaviors that block organizational and individual effectiveness in a diverse workplace including stereotyping, prejudices, and generalizations. Practical strategies such as organizational action plans, taskforces, and diversity programs are discussed to learn how managers can effectively attract and retain a diverse workforce.
