Health Policy Design and Implementation II

This course is the second part of a two-part course. Students travel to Washington, D.C., and Annapolis, MD, to visit federal and state institutions, advocacy groups, and nongovernmental organizations that are critical to the development of health policy, technology, and the delivery of health care services. Students write a significant scholarly paper, with the appropriate literature reviews, to address a critical policy debate, using the frameworks and perspectives from their core courses and the seminar series.
