This first year seminar course will explore how air pollution and climate change disproportionately impact vulnerable communities. In addition to discussion of structural air pollution differences, historical context, and contemporary understanding of air pollution differences, students will participate in making measurements of air pollutants and interpreting these measurements as a class to formulate an understanding of how to use data to communicate a narrative.
