In this first-year seminar, students will hone their research, writing, and communication skills while exploring Baltimore’s culturally rich food scene. Whether interviewing vendors at a local farmer’s market, learning from entrepreneurs addressing food scarcity, or studying scientific advances in food production, students will practice skills they can apply to their future academic work—while indulging their culinary curiosity.
