Students were able to work on an independent project and gain research experience through this course. However, students complained about the amount of time this class took, the number of assignments, and the lack of guidance from the research group. It was suggested that unnecessary assignments be removed, that there be clearer assignment expectations, and better group interaction. Prospective students shouldn’t be afraid to talk to the instructor because she wil be helpful.
