Graduate seminar covering topics in information theory and information geometry. Topics may include large deviation theory, I-divergence, Fisher information and ergodic theory. Emphasis will be placed on developing a rigorous geometric understanding of methods and models in probability and statistics. Curse cannot be counted toward AMS Master’s degree requirements
