Through a semester-long project, students in this course will practice the engineering design process as they work with a community partner to develop a proposal for the improvement or development of a parcel of land in Baltimore City (e.g. a vacant lot, parkland, etc.). Students will present their proposals at the Whiting School’s Design Day.
