Public sector problems are typically characterized by a multiplicity of objectives and decision makers. This course presents a relatively new area of systems analysis which is useful for such problems: multiobjective programming or vector optimization theory. The fundamental concepts are developed and various methods are presented, including multiattribute value and utility theory. Undergraduate level of EN.570.618. Prerequisite: EN.570.495 or similar course in operations research/linear programming.
