Students believed that the professor’s teaching methods were effective and engaging throughout the semester. The assignments were chal enging but enjoyable, and students believed that they learned a lot about computer graphics. There were few complaints, mostly that students wished they had more time to work on assignments, they would have liked some feedback, and that the assignments could have used a bit more clarification in their directions. Students suggested creating clear outlines for each 86assignment and asked for feedback in a timely manner. Prospective students should know that although the course is work- and coding-intensive, it is enjoyable. They wil need to spend more than 40 hours on the homework assignments, so they should be disciplined enough to create and fol ow a strict schedule.

Students thought the most useful element of the course was the assignments which they thought were both interesting and helpful. Some students felt the worst aspect of the class was the difficulty they had in debugging their projects. Students thought the course could be best improved by redesigning the lectures so that they more clearly connected to the assignments and better defined the skil s they needed to complete the projects. Students felt it was valuable for potential participants to know that a background in C++ programming was useful for this class. In addition, the course required a great deal of coding.
