This one-semester independent study provides the student with the opportunity to conceptualize, design, and produce an interactive media installation trained by artificial intelligence. Under the close mentorship of a faculty advisor, the student will explore creative applications of machine learning, interactivity, and digital media to develop an immersive, audience-centered experience. The course emphasizes independent research, prototyping, and iterative design, while integrating technical development with artistic and conceptual inquiry. The semester will culminate in a presentation or exhibition of the final installation.
