Our growing reliance on digital media has transformed point-to-point and mass communication, specifically how we are informed, how information is exchanged and consumed, and how media industries operate in the marketplace. This course introduces students to these changes, developing an engaging and effective narrative arc, techniques for gathering and reporting news and information, and approaches for using digital technologies to gather and report timely information to various audiences, including scientific and technical ones. No prerequisites.
