Single Cell Sequencing and Spatial Omics is an introduction to the technologies and applications of single cell sequencing and spatial platforms in biological research. Beginning with an overview of historical and contemporary sequencing technologies, the course will highlight the peculiarity of commonly used platforms. An optional laboratory session will provide hands-on experience for participants preparing relevant experiments or seeking practical application of course concepts. We will explore aspects of data analysis and validation studies. Guest lecturers with expertise in various aspects of these methodologies will present on their current applications and anticipated future roles in advancing biological research.
