Learning objectives: 1) to learn about the process of how to model neurological diseases in mice, 2) to learn about spinal cord anatomy and muscle anatomy, 3) to learn about human and mouse genetics, 4) to get exposed to laboratory techniques to assess motor neuron degeneration and muscle atrophy and 5) to become component in assessing neuromuscular pathology and mRNA and protein expression levels. Student responsibilities: communicate, work hard, and learn.
