This medical tutorial within the Department of Geriatric Medicine will provide the student with an understanding of the diagnosis and management of older adults with cognitive impairment through shadowing and clinical research. Specific activities include: 1. Twice monthly shadowing of an attending in the Department of Geriatric Medicine 2. Weekly participation in clinical research projects related to dementia care 3. Drafting or serving as a co-author on a research abstract or manuscript.
