The purpose is to assist in broadening students’ concepts of medicine by exposing them to clinical and QI research conducted within psychology. Students will gain experience in multiple components of clinical and QI research, including the IRB process, literature review, data collection, data entry, and data analysis, particularly geared towards exploring interventions within acute psychiatric care settings. There may also be opportunities to observe the clinical practice.
