"Shadowing of an outpatient pediatric and some adult population with neurodevelopmental disabilities (NDDs), such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Fragile X Syndrome (FXS). Due to the Covid-19 pandemics, only 20% are active clinical trials within the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. This faculty is the PI on a clinical trial of targeted treatments for individuals with FXS, the leading known genetic cause of syndromic ASD, and the most translated into clinical trials among all NDDs."
