Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a genetic disorder that results in muscle loss and is treated with high dose chronic steroids. The objective is to learn how the disease and treatment affect growth and skeletal strength. The goal of the study is to identify potential biomarkers for earlier diagnosis and monitoring of skeletal complications. Responsibilities include participation in clinical research study, inputting medical data into study database and collection/analysis of biospecimens.
