This tutorial is a community-based research experience for students interested in working with urban populations exposed to violence. The student will shadow activities conducted by the East Baltimore Trauma Response Team, which is working to create trauma-informed institutions and communities. Tasks will include managing research data and assisting with trainings to hospital staff and community members. There will be opportunities for clinical shadowing in the ED and Baltimore city schools.
