Drug-induced autoimmune hepatitis (DIH) is the most common hepatic drug-induced hypersensitization process observed in approximately 9 to 12% of patients with autoimmune hepatitis. In our lab we investigate mechanisms of DIH using mouse models as well as human sera and datasets. The objective of this tutorial is to allow the student to develop basic immunology skills such as ELISA, western blotting and cell proliferation and learn how they are utilized to investigate DIH.
