Participants will engage in workshops to introduce the sociohistorical context of Baltimore City and understand current health disparities. These workshops will be supplemented with a mentoring program for Baltimore City youth, whereby the Hopkins student (supervised by physician faculty) will help their respective mentee implement a health initiative that aims to impact community health. The Hopkins student will work to take their learning from our workshops and help guide their mentee.
