The goal of the practicum is to introduce students to the basics of Orthopedic care. Students will have the opportunity to shadow Dr. McFarland in clinics and the Operating Room. Students will be responsible to keep a journal of experiences. The students will get to learn about how orthopedic surgeons care for patients from initial visit, operation, follow up care, and assessing final outcomes.
