This clinical course provides the student with an experiential clinical evaluation opportunity for persons with HIV and HIV/AIDS including associated comorbidity. The course will apply didactic instruction from NR.110.612 in the diagnosis, assessment and initial clinical management strategies for opportunistic infections, common co-morbid conditions in persons with HIV/AIDS, as well as chronic health conditions resulting from HIV therapy. Clinical case studies and exemplar patients will be utilized from inpatient and outpatient clinics to integrate clinical decision making skills to real world HIV/AIDS case examples. 56 clinical hours. Prerequisites: NR.210.600, NR.210.602, and NR.110.615 Corequisite: 110.612
