Introduces students to the field of healthcare administration using the lens of the Johns Hopkins International Declaration of Health Rights and the healthcare management tripartite mission. Enables students to examine healthcare administration pathways and sample the healthcare ecosystem through career panels, organizational showcases with industry leaders, facility tours, and alumni engagement. Prepares students to enter the healthcare management work environment with career-building tools developed to prepare them for a residency in the second year. Sessions with healthcare leaders build knowledge across the healthcare spectrum. Provides opportunities to develop skills in Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the healthcare field through the student-led Care for All Patients series.
