Emphasizes the interpretation and conceptual foundations of statistical estimation and inference. Covers summary measures, measures of association, confidence intervals, p-values, and statistical power. Incorporates the software package R into the course learning experiences, and students will use R for a portion of each of the four class homework assignments.
