Provides students with broad exposure to relevant topics around performance and performance management for individuals, teams, and organizations. Discusses types of performance (clinical, financial, human, leadership, strategy) and factors and characteristics that allow organizations to perform at higher levels (high performance). Builds upon concepts from other courses that introduce population health and the triple aim, examining applications that would create and manage the value proposition. Utilizes an evidence-based framework (Baldrige) that has been used to achieve and sustain high performance in healthcare organizations.
