Enables the learner to apply skills obtained through the coursework in the MAS in Community-Based Primary Health Care to design or update a community-based PHC program in a real-life community. Selects a community where they have lived or worked. Obtains data and reports to analyze the social, cultural, epidemiological, and demographic profile of the community and uses this information to design strategies that involve community members in improving their health. Draws on previous course materials and independent desk reviews to produce a program strategy/plan document that includes human and material resource development and an evaluation component.
