The workshop will use the four-year Action Plan on Drugs and Drug Addiction of Barcelona (PADAB) as the background for the following workshop objectives: understanding the flow of research to policy to practice using elements from implementation science; conducting a thorough evaluation of existing drug policies in the city with an intersectional perspective; and considering the importance of evidence-based approaches and the application of research findings in shaping and refining drug policies.
