creditsAverage Course Rating
Introduces leaders in medical education to the process and challenges of curriculum reform. Largely using interactive workshops, participants explore how changes in biomedical science and society have created the need for new skills in physicians of the future. Participants then explore how the process of medical education needs to change to produce these future physicians, and how educators must be trained to champion this renewed mission. Presents the “Genes-to-Society” curriculum recently introduced at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine as an example, along with the lessons learned during its first year of implementation.
