Following a review of the basic strengths and problems of the case-control method, the course will examine the application of this popular method of investigation. Its use will be discussed in evaluation of risk factors, interventions, and as a surveillance tool. The course format will be based on lectures and lab work. Prerequisites: Completion of basic courses in epidemiology and biostatistics
