"This is an introductory level class where students who are new to the double bass, have recently switched from another instrument or have had little to no instruction can learn in a supportive nurturing environment. This class will cover the most basic fundamentals while also building an appreciation for music. The class is open to students of all levels but is tailored towards beginners. Students who complete the course will have priority for lesson registration for the upcoming semesters. If you have ever thought about switching to the double bass or feel lost in school orchestra, now is the perfect time to learn the bass-ics! Open to anyone. Students must obtain their own instrument for the class. There is no placement interview. This is an 8 session class. Dates: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/12 "
