Details of when we meet: Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30pm Henderson Hopkins School 2100 Ashland Avenue (Street parking) How to attend: Contact Kristen ktoedtm1@jhu.edu • Include any singing background you might have (have you sung before? have you sung in groups? what voice type do/did you usually sing (soprano, alto, tenor, bass...)?) • Ask any questions you might have • Join the mailing list: In lieu of registration, we have an email list to which Kristen sends song links and information. Let Kristen know if you give permission to be added to the list and which email address you prefer. What to bring • A good attitude • Water • Black binder if you have one (not mandatory) Who we are • A growing group of men and women from various backgrounds and ranging in age from 20s to 50s • Singers from a range of experience: from complete novices to seasoned choral singers What we sing • Music by rote from different traditions (Americana, African American, World) • Old and new music from the classical tradition • Contemporary music arrangements Where we sing We are at the start of growing this program with a mission to sing in, with and for the community.
