The best aspects of this course were the interesting and applicable course content, as well as the supporting labs. The worst aspects of the course included the disorganized and hard to follow lectures, as wel as the long and unhelpful labs. Also, the homework assignments were tedious and did not correlate well to the exams. The course would improve if students were provided with supplemental notes or textbooks to guide them and if the labs were slightly reduced. Prospective students should know that this course involves a lot of complex concepts and long weekly problem sets. Those who want to be successful should be prepared to put in a lot of work in order to tackle this course.

Students found the subject matter to be very interesting and enjoyed the smal class size. Most students found the course to be extremely difficult, especial y the mathematical aspects of the course. Students suggested that more guided breakdowns of equations and examples might help make these chal enging concepts easier to understand. Students going into the course should have a strong math background, and be prepared to be mental y chal enged as the course materials and concepts are very difficult and advanced. Students are recommended to always stay on top of the homework and to ask questions when they get confused.
