A composition-focused course that involves extensive scene study and analysis as well as numerous writing assignments. The course will not only teach how to approach a specific moment in a feature film with the correct style, instrumentation, and orchestration for that genre but how to create a realistic mockup using samples from Musio as well as any other sample libraries students have access to. Students will also be encouraged to record live players through school whenever possible to enhance their “product” delivery.
