Introduces quantitative tools and framework of financial decision-making. Examines issues of time value, pricing of financial instruments, trade-off between risk and return, portfolio theory, capital budgeting, financial ratio analysis, efficiency of financial markets, capital structure decisions, cost of capital issues, option theory, and financial risk and risk management. The course is rigorous and analytical. The goal is to provide a solid understanding of the concepts of finance and quantitative tools necessary to enter careers in all areas of finance.
