Looks at the evolution of terrorism as a tool of insurgency and a vehicle for political opposition, exploring the strategic and psychological aspects of terrorism and counterterrorism. Surveys doctrines and actions of nationalists, anarchists, Nihilists, Social Revolutionaries, as well as fascist movements.
