This course explores rising twenty-first century political-economic interdependence across the Eurasian continent—including the European Union, Russia, and the Middle East, and India, as well as Northeast Asia— and the implications for global affairs. It includes extensive use of maps and consideration of when and how geography and geopolitics make a difference to both commercial and diplomatic transactions.
