Despite its limited population and resources, Singapore plays a role in world affairs far beyond its physical size. This course explores the Lion City’s role in ASEAN; the economic development of China and India; inside the Washington, D.C. Beltway: and as a global laboratory for ideas ranging from the future of the welfare state to Internet of Things. Special attention is given to Singapore policy innovations in energy, transportation, welfare, immigration, finance, and environmental protection, including an assessment of their global impact. Click here to see evaluations, syllabi, and faculty bios
